Facebook Cop
Facebook is a social networking site. From this, one should know that privacy is somewhat 'compromised' to a certain extent. Facebook has no official, rule-laid privacy control. I do hope that the degree of privacy be made known to all facebook users. Crimes linked to facebook are increasing and since it is available worldwide, there should be transnational strategies meted out. As mentioned in the article, strict guidelines such users under 13 are banned from creating a facebook profile or possibly on any social networking site. Since such views are shared by many other law enforcers around the world, Facebook should act upon increasing their security control on their site. I believe Facebook should be used solely on a non-formal context. It is inappropriate for Facebook to come up with new features which allow partner websites to include their facebook information. Cyber crimes are rampant and it does not just stop with Facebook. I believe international policing on such matters is imperative. I do hope for Facebook to be tighter with their privacy guidelines.
